coldctl archive verify

Verify a completed archive against its journal.

Syntax

USAGE

coldctl archive verify [OPTIONS] <ID>

Arguments & options

Argument	Description
`<ID>`	Job UUID from coldctl jobs list.

Option	Description / default
`--data-dir <PATH>`	Override the OS application data directory
`--output <OUTPUT>`	[default: table] [possible values: table, json]
`-h, --help`	Print help

Examples

Replace configuration names, paths and JOB_ID with values from your installation. Examples are not executed by this page.

coldctl archive verify JOB_ID --output json

Operational notes

Works offline without source credentials. Checks manifest, object size/SHA-256, Parquet schema/type metadata, decoded counts, key order, boundaries and totals. Success saves verified_at; failure clears it. Integrity does not prove equality to a changing source, historical authenticity, or authorization to delete data.
